A brief history on my sister's illness

I believe i owe everyone a A brief history and introduction on my sister's illness, because there's like 16846413163431 people asking me, and i hate repeating myself. This entry is to let everyone better understand her condition and how we can all chip in to aid her in her darkness hour now.

My sister was diagnosed of SLE aka Lupus (read at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lupus_erythematosus )

Right now,she vomits and purges (doctors suspect it's due to her small intestine ) and the nature cause
is CONFIRMED LUPUS,according to Doctor Colleen,her doctor.

and that is the cause of my sister's worry. She has kept everything to herself,bottom all her feelings, and keeps thinking why is the illness un-founded,and why is she not well yet.

it actually gradually confuses her, and makes her weak.

FYI, steroids are prescribed to a patient only when there's no other alternatives (means to say the doctor cannot pin point the illness and give exact treatments. Steroids are used to boost up the immune system so that she won't fall sick easily.

So, picture this, you eat 2 spoonful of rice and one stalk of veggie for each meal,only drinks water. how fast will you lose weight? my sis from a healthy 40kg is now 30kg.

And that's also the next reason why she doesnt want too many people to see her right now. i fully understand everyone's anxiety, but i also seek your kind understanding,(you know girls like to look pretty at all times)
to understand her ,and do your part in offering your prayers. (be it allah, god, buddha) in your best belief. Thus only selected and limited YWDs are encouraged to visit her (at home or hospital) right at this stage.(pls contact her Chapter Ldr Weiling or Pauline for that) We all want the best , and prayers for her now.
