Kewei's Concert on this Sunday!

Join The Philharmonic Winds as they step onto the pop stage, performing popular music from various cultures and eras. You will be treated to some of the most recognisable tunes from the last few decades, from the Japanese classic Subaru to Guns N’ Roses’ Sweet Child of Mine and Bryan Adam’s Summer of 69 in a medley of the greatest Rock songs.

Songs popularised by different singers in different countries and languages proved that music can cross geographical and cultural boundaries, and The Philharmonic Winds will be performing a selection of songs like I Believe, originally from Korean movie My Sassy Girl but has since been translated into various languages.

Celebrating Singapore’s very own brand of music, The Philharmonic Winds will take you down memory lane to relive the 80s and 90s with memorable xinyao tunes.

The irrepressible and multi-talented Sebastian Tan, of Broadway Beng and Miss Saigon fame, joins the 50-strong wind orchestra to belt out Better Man in both English and Mandarin, as well as a surprise item!

Rising star Tay Kewei, who tours with superstars like David Tao, JJ Lin Junjie and A*Mei as a vocalist and instrumentalist, will tease and cajole with her alluring voice in a jazz-pop segment, stamping her individual musicality on classics like Moondance.
