A Poetic, Sad yet Melancholy Song by Do as Infinity, called Enrai (Far Thunder)
Enrai - Do As Infinity
Beneath the gapless thunderclouds
I had been with my mother that day
Beneath a parasol, taken by the hand
We had walked down that summer path
She had always said
In a voice almost drowned out by the chorus of cicada
"Everyone must go on with life alone
So don't turn back"
Being too young, I had probably
Asked a question with no answer
And fallen asleep
Against your back, without crying
The rumbling of distant thunder
Fortelling the coming squall
Almost as if it were predicting
How we would end up thereafter
Approaching you that day
I finally understood
The reason she had suddenly crouched and shed
Those final tears
The scent of that summer
